Unless we change, until we learn from our mistakes, the same problem will arise dahil ang gusto ng Diyos ay matuto tayo at lumago.
How can we learn from our mistakes?
1. Admit your mistake. Hangga’t hindi mo kinikilala ang iyong pagkakamali, you will not be able to turn this into a meaningful and productive experience. Acknowledging your part in a failed endeavor makes you a more mature and responsible person. Kung patuloy kang magiging defensive at hindi mo aaminin na mayroon kang bahagi sa pagkakamali, masasayang lamang ang karanasang ito at di malayong maulit because you refuse to admit it.
2. Be a willing student. When a mistake is committed or when a problem arises, ang magandang itanong sa ating mga sarili ay: “Ano ang matututunan ko dito?”
Did you misunderstand the instructions because you were not paying attention? Did you forget to do something because you did not write it down? Did you fail to check on an important detail crucial to the project because you were rushing?
3. Come up with a new game plan. But we only change when we are purposeful and intentional about it. Determine action plans that you can implement to avoid committing the same mistakes.
4. Surrender your mistakes to God and ask Him to help you learn from them. Ask Him to give you the grace to change. Our God is God not just of second chances but of unlimited grace. The bigger your mistake is, the more He will embrace you with His grace. The mistakes you cannot undo in your life and your career, God can use to make you stronger and more mature. Ang sabi sa Psalm 37:23–24, “If the LORD delights in a man’s way, he makes his steps firm; though he stumbles, he will not fall, for the LORD upholds him with his hand.”
There is a lesson to learn from every mistake. There is a message to hear from the blunders we make.
